These Xtreme Magnets are, well….EXTREMELY strong!
I have needed a stud finder for so long! I cannot tell you how many times I have missed the stud….oops….that “hollow” tapping on the walls trick does not always work!
So I am over the moon thrilled with these!!! I did a video to show how they literally pulled my scissors straight across the table but for some reason some of my photos & videos are not loading up today.
Just get these….they are everything they claim to be in the listing & then some.
Come with a handy little keychain, hook thingamajig so you can easily carry one on something but be careful because they will attach or pull anything metal to them!
The 5 Pack is perfect too because then you can leave one in the tool bag/box, a drawer, garage, shed, etc.
This is a MUST have for any DIY’er, or just someone who hangs a simple picture frame! Never miss that stud again!
Great for grabbing items in hard to reach places that fell too…drop a nail? Depending on how far it is, it will grab it!
For the price of $9.99 (at time of posting this, 09/26/25) that’s a steal of a deal! At just around two bucks a pop, you can’t beat it!
Highly recommend for EVERY household. (and apparently there is an extra attachment thing you can get to add on with these as well according to the instructions)
Super easy to find wall links but wooden studs are a little harder as you have to find a nail. Im a girl so I think they are a little time costly to use but they DO work and are super strong magnets. I held up a stencil paper to mount a picture and it held it even while drilling holes and it was even after!
Of course, you could just simply use rare earth magnets, so why use these? The plastic shell has holes, so you can hang them, put them on a lanyard, etc, and it also holds the edge away from the wall (if using as a stud finder), making them easy to remove. They are plenty strong, pretty cheap, and work well as a simple magnet. The size is easy to use and store.
I like having a magnet on me at all times because I work with a lot of salvaged materials, fasteners, etc, and I like to be able to determine if I’m working with something ferrous or not.
Can’t believe I’ve made it this long without these. So much better than every stud finder I have used
Could be stronger. Need better color options and the plastic encasing should be stronger.
